Daily report of all meals, insulin and blood glucose tests

Visual reports making it easy to get expert advice.

Experts can really help manage your condition. But they need the right information. Without your own personal records, they’re forced to use “averages”. By providing an accurate report of your diet, you can get the most out of their knowledge.

No more handwritten food journals.

Historically, patients have been asked to record all their information in journals. These are painful to fill in AND to read. Journals take time to complete and accuracy is low. You have to handwrite everything. And then you lose them.

With Syft it couldn’t be easier. Take pictures of everything you eat. Syft shows the results beautifully on a timeline.

About Us

Dealing with diabetes

Our parents are diabetic. We’ve seen the pain it causes, and how it damages your health. So we started to investigate diet management for ourselves. We researched the path to type 2 diabetes. We looked into type 2 remission. And we started to check our own blood sugars. We were shocked by how tricky it was to accurately monitor diet easily.

Our App

We’ve built our app to be as simple as possible: No fiddly buttons. No complicated food search. No puzzling over portions. We store pictures of your meals and add nutrition details. You just share detailed information with your specialist.

Our Database

We have a proprietary database of meals that we manage ourselves. We are continually reviewing it to add missing items, and merge items that are virtually identical. The whole point of the database is to optimise for search. We want to provide nutritional information in the most efficient way possible.

Our Technology

Behind the scenes, we’ve built our own platforms for meal identification, nutrient tracking and user preferences. All these tools help our team produce compelling reports for medical professionals, and also quickly and accurately provide nutrition estimates. We think there’s so much more we can do to help.

Diet Tracking

Who can benefit?

Obesity

Understanding Calories

Tracking calories is crucial when managing obesity, it allows you to monitor your food intake, ensure you are consuming fewer calories than you’re burning, and make necessary adjustments to your diet. It also helps identify high-calorie foods and make informed decisions about food choices, which can aid in weight loss and management.

Diabetes

Understanding Carbohydrates

Tracking your food intake is essential when managing your diabetes, it helps you monitor your carbohydrate intake and adjust your insulin or medication. In time this will lead to better glucose control and overall diabetes management. It also allows you to make informed decisions about food choices and ensure you are consuming a healthy diet.

Anaemia in Pregnancy

Understanding Iron

Understanding your iron intake is crucial when managing your anaemia during pregnancy, as it helps you ensure you’re getting enough iron to meet your needs and the needs of your growing baby. Adequate iron intake is important for the formation of red blood cells, as well as the oxygenation of your blood and that of your baby. Keeping track of your iron intake can help you prevent complications related to anaemia like fatigue, weakness, and poor oxygenation, which can be harmful to both you and your baby’s health.
